ABC Teach
You will find easy, online materials for use by kids, teachers, parents, and home schoolers on this award-winning site. They are organized into these categories: basics (ABCs, reading, writing, math, handwriting), research/reports, theme units (animals, habitats, holidays, sports, countries, and more), shape books, games and puzzles (connect the dots, mazes, coloring pages, etc). Don't Miss: The shape books are popular and easy to use. They are grouped in themes such as animals, food, sports, money, school, nature, etc. Print and photocopy the pages you like. Then put a title and/or words you want on the page, then decorate or color. Your students can make booklets for math skills, poems, word families, science themes, etc.

One of the most popular Internet education sites, ProTeacher is a comprehensive site for K-6 teachers---lesson plans in all subjects, education news, networking and support, teaching practices, classroom management, child development, leadership, technology. The search engine works well. Search results come back alphabetically with brief descriptions.
Don't Miss: Talk to other teachers who visit ProTeacher. BusyBoard is the place to read messages their messages, ask questions, and share advice. It has special sections for K-3 and 4-6 teachers, student teachers, substitutes, special education, and Canadian educators.
